Luna Grill Mediterranean Kitchen Announced for Center Pointe Plaza

The City of Menifee is excited to share the addition of Luna Grill Mediterranean Kitchen as the first tenant announced to join Center Pointe Plaza, off Newport Road at Town Center. Luna Grill, an upper-scale fast-casual, healthy, non-GMO eatery, will be apart of an exciting new project consisting of a73,000square foot retail center currently in construction that is owned by Tourmaline Capital. Luna Grill joins a yet to be formally announced specialty grocer, a sit-down restaurant, and other eateries and uses that will be announced over the next few months. Luna Grill expects to open its Menifee location in late fall or early winter.

The expansion of Luna Grill Mediterranean to Menifee will be the restaurant’s second location in Southwest Riverside County, with the other location in Temecula. Luna Grill started in San Diego in 2004 when founders Sean and Maria Pourteymour’s passion for feel good, wholesome food came to life as Luna Grill. Now with over 50 locations throughout Southern California and the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Luna Grill joins the synergy and regional economic hub found in Menifee.

“Luna Grill is another exciting, fresh restaurant that is also family owned and operated to give residents and visitors options when it comes to dining in Menifee,” said Councilmember Matt Liesemeyer, District 2. “It is great to see this addition—among other brands our City team has been actively encouraging to come to Menifee—come to our city after years of discussions. It says a lot that they are expanding to Menifee, even during a pandemic. With our growing community and our shifting demographics great things will continue to be on the horizon for Menifee.”
