The City of Menifee is currently accepting pre-applications for the Menifee M.E.N.U. grant. This grant opportunity assists new-unique restaurant entertainment/nightlife concepts with start-up costs of up to $100,000. Pre-applications will be accepted until December 24, 2024, or until all designated grant funds have been utilized.

All businesses wishing to apply for a Menifee M.EN.U. Grant must complete a pre-application. All pre-applications must include proposed costs to be covered, as well as a concept board/plan for the business including visuals that represent the interior layout, interior design, and furniture/materials inspiration. Eligible expenses to be covered include start-up costs such as grease trap installation, kitchen equipment, or additional start-up costs approved by Grant Administrator.

Pre-Application

M.E.N.U. Grant Pre-Application

Submit Concept Board/Plan

As requirement of the grant pre-application, applicants must provide a proposed concept board/plan that gives the reviewing panel a complete vision of the business, quality of the establishment, and investment being made. You may submit your concept board via email at econdev@cityofmenifee.us or submit in-person at Menifee City Hall (29844 Haun Road).

Complete Full Application

If your pre-application qualifies you as eligible, you will then complete the full application and will need to submit the following documentations:

  • Letter of Intent or Lease Agreement
  • Completion of SBDC Grant Consultation
  • Formal Quotes for all proposed expenses
